: Purchased Omega seamaster 300m automatic
: chronometer last december. Wear the watch
: often, however on a couple of occasions, the
: watch on winding will not start. Then
: screwing crown in and pulling out and
: winding watch starts. Is this common or
: should I take to dealer for investigation
If you fully wind the watch and then screw in the crown and the watch does not start, try shaking it just a bit. It should start running right away. One of my watches was like this when I first bought it, but after doing this a few times the problem went away. If you fully wind it and shake it and it still won't start, I would send it back for warranty repair.
