A friend of mine in Toronto just got his vintage Speedo back from a servicing and he paid $900.00 Cndn. His watch looks fantastic by the way. This is a great site but us Canadians have to remember that our American friends are a little spoiled when it comes to prices on many items we pay an arm and a leg for up here! I own a 2599.80.00 that retails for $4000.00 Cndn-not including 15% tax! On my frequent visits to NYC I find prices on watches in general are substantially lower. Why don't I buy when I can even save the out of state tax? When you factor in the dollar exchange, the Canadian duties and taxes and the aggravation of wanting to choke the !#%$ out of the Canada Customs people, it's not worth the miniscule savings in the end. For a guy who loves watches, guns and the NFL I guess I was born on the wrong side of the border...
