: Hi All,
: I'm mentally preparing myself for the
: acquisition of my 2nd Omega. My first is a
: mid-size Seamaster blue automatic (mid-size
: Bond). Since I have a small wrist it fits
: very well and I wear it nearly every day.
: But, for my next Omega, I'd like a somewhat
: more slim look, along the lines of the
: DeVille (or like a Tag Carrera 'look'). I
: don't really like the Constellations.
: I'd like to find two features. One, if possible
: a GMT feature, second, a mid-size look, (and
: it must be automatic). I'd like the face to
: have good contrast (no silver faces).
: I think the problem lies in finding a mid-size
: version. It doesn't have to be 'new' and the
: thought of finding an OLD Seamaster has
: crossed my mind.
: Any recommendations?
: thanks
: dave
The best recommendation I can make would be the DeVille GMT. Finding a mid-size watch with a GMT function narrows your options greatly, but the DeVille is not as large as either of my full-size SMPs. It is MUCH slimmer than the SMP as well, since it is a dress watch without a bezel.
This watch also has the co-axial movement and comes in a variety of dial colors and strap/bracelet options.
