: Alan and John Rochowicz: I am new to this
: board. My wife surprised me last week with a
: new Planet Ocean (45mm, black dial and
: bezel, bracelet). I love it. My first
: "real" watch. I have wanted a
: Seamaster since I was a teenager. I always
: settled for cheap watches. I love my Planet
: Ocean so much I am thinking of getting
: another one, but with the orange bezel and
: numbering, and maybe with the orange strap.
: I am also thinking of getting a Breitling
: Chronomat Evolution.
: I would be greatful for the following: (1) A
: referral for an Omega dealer that will give
: me a substantial discount, maybe even the
: 37.5% Alan was fortunate to get.
: Unfortunately, my wife bought my Planet
: Ocean at a dealer in Newport Beach, CA and
: only got a 9% discount;
: (2) John, I have read on this board that you
: have a Breitling dealer that will give
: substantial discounts. Could you please
: provide that referral?;
: (3) Lastly, would you recommend that my new
: orange Planet Ocean be with the bracelent
: and that I get the orange strap and buckle
: later, or just get it with the orange strap
: and use the bracelet from my current Planet
: Ocean whenever I want to wear it with a
: bracelet?
: Thanks in advance for you referrals and
: recommendations. I look forward to future
: participation in this board.

I just sent you referrals to both of my dealers. Regarding the PO bracelet/strap question, if you plan to wear the orange one primarily on a strap, then I'd buy it that way. Normally it is cheaper to buy it with the bracelet and then buy the strap later, but in your case you already have a bracelet from your other PO. You'll end up spending about $300 just for the Omega strap and deployment clasp if you buy the watch on a bracelet, so if you don't need an extra bracelet, why spend the extra money?
