I'd appreciate any recommendations for where I can get expert service for a early 1980s Omega Speedmaster Professional, preferably in or near Toronto or Ottawa (Canada).
The last time I took it in to a local shop (a) because it was time for a cleaning and (b) because it was losing a minute a day, they charged me $300+ and, although they took it back twice to work on it some more, it still loses a minute a day, plus now the bottom "hour" timer has stopped working.
I don't mind paying real money to maintain my watch, but not when they can't fix it!
Any tips most welcome.
Thanks,
Joel.
