I would go for Tissot any day. They offer exceptional value for the price. I currently own three, a Tissot Navigator quartz, A T-Lord auto and the Tissot Seastar 1000. My only gripe is that the Seastar is a huge and heavy watch. I believe the Seastar 660 with the quartz movement are slightly smaller. Anyways I would suggest Tissot rather than the Japanese brand since there is nothing like swiss quality.
