Repaired under Warranty

Background: After 4 months my SMP Chrono Diver just stopped running...the day after I golfed while wearing it. Just picked it up from repair under warranty (bracelet looks mint again!) and the technicians note states "jewel roller off".

Question: Can anyone explain what this means? (maybe Rich-West Repairs) The Swatch rep. said it could only happen from sharp impact damage and reassured me (as have many others) that simply wearing it while golfing wouldn't cause this as it wouldn't have kept running for another day afterwards. I baby my watch and it has never been dropped or banged into anything! I literally picked it up from my bedstand in the morning-noticed it was running-put it on-looked at it again and noticed it had stopped!!! I know the Swatch guy didn't believe me but that's exactly what happened...and I can't get over the coincidence of having worn it for this season's first round of golf just the day before!

Any insights or theories?
