The white face GMT is a gorgeous watch. It's white dial makes it look unique among all the typical blue and black faced watches out there.

As far as which watch to buy, it's really YOUR decision. You can get a brand new white faced GMT for about $1600 from the authorized dealer I use, which is probably less than half of what you'll pay for a used Sub. The Sub will hold its value better (as Rolex watches do) but won't have the GMT function. If you travel a lot between time zones, the GMT feature comes in handy. I wish I had one years ago when I did a lot more traveling.

I guess it comes to down to cost, whether you need the GMT function, and what you are comfortable spending. And, of course, which watch you personally like better.
