: The white face GMT is a gorgeous watch. It's
: white dial makes it look unique among all
: the typical blue and black faced watches out
: there.
: As far as which watch to buy, it's really YOUR
: decision. You can get a brand new white
: faced GMT for about $1600 from the
: authorized dealer I use, which is probably
: less than half of what you'll pay for a used
: Sub. The Sub will hold its value better (as
: Rolex watches do) but won't have the GMT
: function. If you travel a lot between time
: zones, the GMT feature comes in handy. I
: wish I had one years ago when I did a lot
: more traveling.
: I guess it comes to down to cost, whether you
: need the GMT function, and what you are
: comfortable spending. And, of course, which
: watch you personally like better.
I 100% agree with John, however, I'd like to point out a review made by John Holbrook of the GMT Omega vs. a GMT Rolex. Even though you're considering a Submariner.
Keep in mind that this is only ONE opinion.
