Yeah, I heard the same thing...
Brosnan was PRETTY pissed when he got that call...
Personally, I think that they should do the opposite with the next Bond film. They should've went into the FUTURE and rehired old Sean Connery to play Bond one last time...... To show that even an old Bond can still have his way with women, guns, gadgets, and cars just as good, or better than his younger self....
Add an Omega to his wrist to show that it's his final choice, and THAT would be cool film....
