Hello, second time posting here -- but exact same question, only I'm looking for the black dial. Assuming there is no price difference, please let me know of any Chicagoland possibilties. Also -- how is the best way to negotiate the discount? In my experience department store staff are pretty firm on prices. Must I go to a smaller jewelry store? Thanks for any info!!!
Feel free to email me directly. THANKS.
: Hi all,
: This is my first time posting on this forum. I
: plan to buy an Omega Seamaster Pro with blue
: dial as a graduation present for myself in
: about a couple of months. I live in the
: Milwaukee area and have shopped around for
: the watch quite a bit. It retails for about
: $1995 at most jewellers and Marshall Fields.
: All of these retailers are willing to do a
: 20% discount. My questions is whether it is
: possible to get a higher discount since most
: people say that at least a 30% discount is
: normal. If anyone could point me towards a
: reputed dealer that would be willing to
: negotiate further in the Milwaukee-Chicago
: area I would appreciate your help. Thank you
: much.
