Speedy burned up with Columbia

I was watching the show about the Shuttle Columbias last mission on THE SCIENCE CHANNEL last night and saw that just about everyone was wearing speedmasters.

The show really brought home the tragedy of the disaster. Lots of firsts in science were accomplished that mission. I guess the documentary was made to show that every mission is important, and every crew member extraordinary.

My heart goes out to their families.
