: When you say "Bond Seamaster," I'm
: sure you know that "officially"
: that means on the 2531.80 and 2541.80,
: "unofficially," the mid-versions
: -- and as a practical matter ... well, model
: numbers can mean a world of difference here.
: Not just for you, but for others, I'd want
: to be sure of that.
: Otherwise, $1294 for a 2531.80? I was quoted
: $1350 for this out of New York. No tax, but
: shipping and insurance on top of that. So,
: am I reading your numbers correctly, a
: difference of $56, apples to apples? Any
: import issues to contend with?
Be advised that the price that i quoted for the 2531.80 was the "list" price. I did not attempt to bargain with the dealer. In case I had bargained I am sure the price would be 20-30% less than this quote (India is notorious for bargaining). It is because of this difference that I believe that it is the best price worldwide.
