Wow, lucky you. Looks like we kinda have to get into a relationship with the AD before buying the watch to ensure good after sales service. I think the dealer that you described is hard to come by. Most AD that i see, don't know much about their watches....some even don't know the difference between a chronometer and a chronograph.
They 'll also tell you that the models in display are the ones left (ie. no more stock due to " good demand") They are also strict with their discount....20 % -23% max.
If the watch is defective (i.e not conforming to COSC standards) waht is the time interval before they say that the watch can't be exchanged for a new one and that it has to be repaired?
What is the usual warranty period for SMP.
