I still don't see the connection between the escapement and the watch losing so much time. In any case, you don't deserve to be continually frustrated over this matter. It probably is a lemon as I have not seen any other complaints of this nature regarding the PO. Get the dealer to swap it out as damaged and be firm by telling them that this is the only way to make you satisfied at this point. Good Luck!
