SMP Concerns..

Well, so far I am thinking seriously on getting a SMP Chronometer over a quartz

My main concern is regarding its accuracy (please don't direct me to a quartz). I once have a Japanese automatic watch which ran consistently 2 minutes off in 24 hours and it irritated the hell out of me and I got rid of it.

In general, how often do you guys with the SMP chronometers have to check the accuracy and adjust it. I understand that over the long run, too frequent adjustment of the crown will wear out the gasket.

I want a chronometer as it 's an interesting movement to wear compared to a quartz watch. However it shouldn't be at the expense of function and reliability to tell time otherwise a watch is just not a watch.

Do you guys have to adjust your watches frequently?. Thanks alot!!
