: I'm in the process of shopping around /
: researching a 300M Seamaster -- the Bond
: 2541.80.00 (quartz) and 2531.80.00
: (automatic) to be specific. I will be
: purchasing from an AD, so the following
: links are just for illustration purposes.
: I have a question about the bracelets shown on
: the following pages. I love the 300M blue
: face, but I'm not crazy about the default
: bracelet found on the Bond watch shown here:
: But in doing some Googling around, I've found
: the bracelet that I really want (it's on the
: newer versions of the 300Ms) and is shown
: here:
: My questions are: Is this second link (i.e. the
: 'newer bracelet') just a mock-up or just
: have a new bracelet added on to the older
: Bond face? Or is this newer bracelet
: actually an option when purchasing the
: 2741.80.00? Also, what gives with this Grey
: market retailer's model number of
: 2741.80.00? Is this a special number for
: this newer style bracelet?
: And finally, if it is not possible to get this
: bracelet on a new watch, how
: difficult/expensive is it to add the new
: bracelet to this face?
: Thanks for any info you can provide!
Hey there,
I'm not omega pro, but I'm pretty sure there is no such legit omega model as you show with new bracelet. Bond models comes only with one style bracelet as far as I know, I guess it's a make up model from authentic watches, I'm sure pro watch guys here will agree with me on this. On other hand you can go with 22558000 model. It has the bracelet you like and blue dial, but not the same bond dial, classic seamaster. Also I would not recommend to switch bracelets because it's very expensive, it will cost not less that $400 to get a new bracelet. Also then it will be make up model, not geniune Omega, but of course it's up to you. Also my another recomendation will be to get a chronometer instead of quarts. This is real thing. Good luck on purcase !!!!!!
