Hai,
I was wondering how long does it takes for a mechanical watch "settle in" after purchase. Does it have to be with COSC standard during that time frame or only after it has settled in (which is said to be approximately 3 months.
In other words, can one say that the watch is defective and demand for an exchange for a new one if it is discovered to be out of COSC standard say 1 week after purchase assuming that it is worn most of the time (ie. fully wound) with normal daily activity.
The most disappointing thing is to pay hard earned cash for it only to discover that it is out of COSC standard.
Thanks & Cheers!!
Tahnks.
