Well, lots of WIS prefer to wear their watches in the show and some prefer to not. Water resistance certainly isn't an issue though, your watch can handle a lot more than showering.
It's a personal choice, but I don't. You do get all kinds of soap scum and stuff between the links when you wear it in the shower. Over time the gunk that gets between the links can cause problems. My take on it is that I don't need to know the time when I'm in the shower and I like to let me wrist "breath" for a few minutes each day.
One thing to be careful of if your bathroom has tile is that there are few things that are worse than dropping your watch on tile. So, keeping your watch on can be safer if you would be taking it off and putting it back on with wet hands in the bathroom. My solution is that I take it off in my bedroom and leave it on my nightstand.
Hope all of that at least helps you to figure out what you think would be best, but like I said the water resistance won't be a problem, so it's a personal choice.
