Re: reference check
In Response To: reference check ()

David: I met John through this Forum when I first started looking for my Bond-style Seamaster Professional. He patiently helped me work through decisions regarding quartz versus chronometer, and was never anything but supportive of me in making hte right decision for *me* (as opposed to imposing his views).

More recently, I came across an opportunity where I felt I could benefit from John's expert advice. It also involved keeping this information in confidence. He did so (as I expected), and went above and beyond in terms of coaching me on. He has made recommendations to me regarding Authorized Dealers, and is always responsive, no matter how long the day (altho, like all of us, appears to be off-line some ... to earn a living in the real world).

Although I have never made a purchase from John, the nature of my dealings w/ him as described above lead me to recommend him as highly as I would anyone. I wouldn't hesitate to send him a check for a watch he had for sale, if it were me.

Hope this helps.
