More important to have 120-click GMT bezel...
Think about it. The 24-hour moves around one per 24 hours. Every 5-min indice marks 2 hours of time on the 24-hour hand. If the GMT bezel only clicked 60 times, you could only move it either 2/5 of the way or 3/5 of the way between the minute marks... i.e., it would not line up on the hour. What you need is a bezel that can move to exactly half-way between the 5-min markers (or 5/10). Therefore, you need a 120-click bezel NOT a 60-click bezel.
Actually, it is very common for a divers bezel to move one revolution in 60 clicks. A lot of cheaper GMT-like watches just put 24-hours on a 60-click divers bezel, and you can't set it properly. I had one, and it annoyed the hell out of me. So, I bought an Omega GMT, which has the 120-click bezel.
The Bond GMT has a divers bezel rather than a
: typical GMT bezel. Its is normal for divers
: bezels to have 120 clicks so that you can
: set it within 30 seconds rather than a full
: minute. GMT bezels are dealing with hours
: rather than minutes, so it makes sense for
: GMT bezels to have 60 clicks.
