Dell,
I have been the proud owner of SMP Bond Chrono now for nearly 1 year, for the first 7 months or so the watch was liked you mentioned, then for the last two months it has 'settled' and gains 1sec per day!!! I have a 2 week old 45mm PO and it is the same but always stays within COSC standards.
Enjoy your watch and it will settle in time I'm sure.....
