Re: SMP Cost
In Response To: SMP Cost ()

: Howdy,

: What is the current retail price of a Bond SMP
: (25318000? What is the dealer's cost and the
: maximum expected discount of the retail
: price from a AD.

The 2531.80.00 retails for $1995 in the US. Dealer cost on all Omegas is 55% of MSRP, so in this case dealer cost is $1100. The dealer I use discounts 33% from MSRP on all Omega watches, so his price would be $1337. I haven't found a dealer willing to go lower than this, so I've been using my current dealer for almost 3 years now. Their customer service is top notch as well. E-mail me for a referral if you are interested.

: Is the retail price the same in every country?

There are set retail prices in every country, but given the trade-weighted index among various currencies, a watch's retail price may end up being cheaper in one country than another simply because one country's currency is valued higher.
