Actually, I believe the crown is the same exact size as the other current Seamasters. As you can see, the crown is fully exposed from the back. From the front view, the crown guard covers nearly 75% and is different than the other SMP's. I personally never remembered the crown being any more difficult to manipulate on the Bond GMT.
Sorry for the purple hues in the pics. The watch was resting on an empty Crown Royal pouch. LOL!
