You may recall my previous postings on the problems I was having with my Planet Ocean:
1st watch had hour markers that appeared to be lifting up off the face of the watch. I took this back to the AD who replaced the watch begrudgingly, but not the bracelet because there was minor scratching on the clasp.
This replacement watch, after a few weeks lost a LOT of time. This time I dealt directly with the Swatch Group - who serviced the watch and indicated that the escarpment had been dry, which must have been missed in final inspection at the Omega factory. After service the watch continued to lose time (after I got it home) - up to 6.5 mins per day. You may recall my previous posts about a 'lemon' watch.
After advice gained on this forum, I requested a brand new watch from the Swatch Group.
True to their word, I took delivery yesterday of a BRAND NEW replacement watch (including new bracelet).
So I would like to congratulate the Swatch Group on their GREAT customer service. They obviously took to heart my concerns about owning a watch which required continuous service over the first couple of months of its life.
I am looking forward to this new watch delivering on the high quality performance promised by the Omega brand name.
