Not So Great For Me

My feelings on the Swatch Group US aren't that great, either. I sent an Omega in for warranty repair once. I got the watch back within about 4 weeks, but they shipped it back without my box or warranty cards. I called them and they said they located everything in their warehouse, but when they overnighted it to me the warranty cards were still missing. I called yet again and this time they found the warranty cards in another envelope and had to send them back to me AGAIN.

The worst part, though, is that while the problem was corrected (defective crown), the watch came back keeping far worse time than it did before it went in. Rather than send it back I just let my own watchmaker regulate it to get it back to normal (at my $25 cost). So, yes, they fixed the problem, but they created another one in the process. Overall I guess I'd have to give them a poor grade on both the customer service end as well as on the repair job.

I may very well heed Keith's advice and send my watches back to Switzerland for service in the future. I thought I'd give Omega USA a chance, but their work was sub-par for such an expensive watch.
