however, some, like the one from Banda, have a polyurethene top rather than waterproof leather. Here are some good carbon "look" straps:

1) Hirsch Carbon - 100m WR leather top with rubber underside;
2) Di-Modell "Carbonio Sport" same as above; and
3) Banda Carbon - Polyurethene with rubberized underside.

As far as deployants, I prefer the Banda double folding pushbutton deployant. It can accomodate very thick straps and the exposed portion (the section that you actually see) is wider than the other butterfly deployants I've seen. I've purchased this one in all sizes.
