It takes, on average, four to six weeks to get an Omega serviced. Restorations and/or overhauls of older and vintage watches can take as long as 3 months. Although I have seen some Omegas take as long as six months for thorough restorations. Usually, these watches have ended up taking a little trip to Switzerland to have the work done. Sorta like a health spa retreat for watches.
But Larry, it does sound like the store you went to is a little ticked off about losing the Omega brand. Some people just can't take it.
