thank you VERY much for the valuable information. I got this watch from my father in law.
Honestly, I know NOTHING about Omega. All I know is that this watch looks really good and he wanted me to have his as he just couldn't be bothered to take care of it any longer. The chrono stuff doesn't seem to work as the buttons seem to be jammed/stuck with the exception of the main screw (excuse me for my limited voc..:)) but the clock is still running perfectly.
As you mentioned, due to the condition (and most probably the age) I am pretty sure it won't last for 72 hours but only 24 hours. If I have to make a guess, this watch may have been made sometime between 1975-1980. I was planning to have it restored/repaired but I have to put it on hold for now. The service price tag is quite scary here if compared to average income. :P
