Series 33xx Problems Resolved???

I am seriously considering a Broad Arrow as my next Omega but am still a bit gunshy after reading about the chronograph reset problems on the timezone forum (thanks for compiling the info, Chuck).

Maybe I've missed some threads on that forum, but I can't tell if the problem has now been fully corrected by Omega on these Piguet movements.

Here are my questions:

1) Has the problem been corrected and, if so, is there a manufacture date I should look to when buying (i.e. watches made after 12/27/03 are okay)?

2) I read a while back that Omega was servicing these chrono movements free of charge, even if the warranty had expired. They were doing this because they were aware of the problem and wanted to do this for good "customer relations". Is this policy still in effect?

Thanks a lot.
