The 49 er Railmaster has a movement based on the Eta Unitas 6497-6498, the most common pocket watch movement also used by Eberhard in their Traversolo, by Panerai in their Luminor, by Dornblueth and by Revue Thommen. The movement is the most common pocket watch available on the market quality is good but nothing excellent as compared to vintage omega handwound calibers.
However the the cal 2260 used in the 49 er Railmaster has the best finish and the biggest power reserve of all the eta 6497-6498 watches avilable on the market.
