: Well, if you have an authorized dealer stamped
: and dated warranty card, or a copy of the
: seller's original sales receipt, you could
: e-mail Omega and ask for a copy of the COSC
: certificate. If the watch is less than 5
: years old, the certificate is still
: available. The date listed on the
: certificate will at least give you an
: approximate idea as to when the watch was
: manufactured. The certificate itself really
: only reflects when the movement was tested,
: though, so final assembly of the watch may
: have been quite a bit later if the movement
: sat around for a while before it was put
: into a case.
: It's totally free to get a COSC certificte -
: just e-mail aftersales@omega.ch with a scan
: of the warranty card or sales receipt. The
: certificate will be sent to you from Omega
: Headquarters at no charge. It usually takes
: a few weeks for it to arrive in the US.
Nope, no original paperwork.
I was hoping there is an updated list of serial numbers, that includes later models.
