: Hi
: I recently bought a Seamaster bond automatic
: and I noticed that the unidirectional
: turning bezel was not perfectly “in line”
: with the marks on the dial (especially at
: 3H00 and 9H00). Do you know if it’s a common
: problem on the Seamaster or should I send it
: to Omega? If so, is it covered be the
: guarantee (I bought it from an authorized
: dealer).
This is not a common problem but it is easy to repair. Your watch is still under warranty so I would definitely have it fixed. If you bought it very recently from a local authorized dealer, you could even take it back to them and ask for a replacement, or ask them to send it to Omega for you so you don't have to pay the shipping. If you wanted to, you could insist they exchange it for a new one since the watch is so new and you just bought it. Either way, the bezel should align perfectly with the markers on the dial, so it needs to be repaired.
