There is a diffrence in quality and finish
In Response To: Movements ()

Hi

Some movements have a better quality out of the box than Etas it is particularly the case of Piguet and Lemania movements. What makes them better than etas movements?
-Triovis regulation and accuracy adjusting system which is far superior than the basic etachron
-Better power reserve and accuracy out of the box and they don't need modifications unlike Etas for being or reaching cosc specs
-They don't need a service every 5 years unlike etas.
The Piguet 1150 and Lemania 8810 are references in the world in ultra thin selfwinding movements. They offer both reliability and accuracy as well as a very good power reserve.
