I see no problem wearing them on a dialy basis.
I do however "look after" them.
I don't shower in them, don't wash the dishes wearing them ( I DO load the dishwasher though :- ) )
I dive & when I'm underwater I wear either a cheap quartz diver or a Citizen Divemaster. I don't consider a vintage watch "suitable equipment" for underwater use.
I remove my watches when working in the garage/shed or crawling around under a car.
I sleep whilst wearing my watch.
Wear it & enjoy it !
