That is a shame Mathew...

I am sorry to hear about your experiences with Rolex and the fora. Yes, this is one of the friendliest places to discuss watches you will find, but folks here are still passionate about their opinions as they should be. I have noticed a certain "Rolex is the best, dont argue" mantality on other forums but I don't let it bother me. I don't know that I would let an on-line community discourage me from my interests. I read many posts with a grain of salt, nevertheless I enjoy the classic ones like "Rolex vs Omega". There will never be an agreement or conclusion on that topic!LOL!

As far as quality, I agree but I have seen minor flaws on just about every Omega and Rolex that I've come accross. I no longer try to drive myself crazy trying to find the perfect watch cause it doesn't exist. I just try to enjoy what I have.

Most AD's are often poorly trained and clueless about either brand. Thats why we come here! I hope you reconsider Mathew. I have learned alot from reading your posts and I rather enjoy your perspective!

Cheers!
