My only exceptions are in the sauna or the hot tub, due to thermal shock. Other activities are fine - scuba, skiing, power tools, painting (what's going to stick to s/s or sapphire crystal?). However, I do have a blemish on the blue bezel that I suspect is from handling liquid chlorine for the pool.
