Eta 2824 is a very middle of the range movement

Aghree with all of the comments above. The 2824 is found in $400 watches, it is very far to be a quality movement unlike the 2892 and its cousin the 2893. The 2824 production started since the mid 60's but it has never been considered as something exceptional and it never will. Finish, quality, power reserve and precision of that movement are very very average like the eta 2836 found in the Breitling Headwind. I never liked Breitling because a lot of their watches use the cal 17 (a rebadged eta 2824)and there is no significant improvements made on the movement.
The Omega 1120 along with the 2500 is the best reworked eta 2892-a2 you can find on the market.
