New Information about the "Anakin" Seamaster

Hi Guys,

At the weekend I picked up an Omega dealers catalogue from 1973. It contains some great Info & possibly some "new" information for us vintage collectors.

Here is an example.

The "Anakin" & "Darth Vader" Seamasters is an interesting line of watches.

Without Chuck's webpage covering these models, I'm sure most collectors would NOT know of these watches.

I have a couple of catalogues that feature the Silver/"Anakin" version. One shows the watch on a leather strap & the other shows it on an 1162.

The dealers catalogue shows yet another option. ( click on the pic for a larger version )

As far as I'm aware this is the first official Omega documentation , available on the Internet, showing this watch & bracelet combination.

If you look at the page long enough, you'll notice that the bracelet shown at the top of the page is the WRONG one. It looks like either an 1170 or an 1171 to me.

Does anyone out there know of any Omega documentation containing the Black/"Darth Vader" version of this watch ?

Steve
