Maybe this should be its own Post, because it's unsettled me since I first saw it on my way to buy catfood at Walmart about a month ago....
{insert HTML here for that sort of cheesy effect they did on TV shows about 30 years ago to indicate a character having a flashback}
Even there, I can't help but look in the watch cases. And, to my amazement, I saw what I thought was a gold Rolex a'la Live and Let Die in the display case! Only it was a Timex. Since then I have seen it in silver online (see below). All it needs is a 2mm too small NATO strap and we're talking Goldfinger mission part 2.
Then last Friday I was in Target (buying a battery charger for use w/ my digital camera, altho my Nikon F-3 35mm remains first choice), and I saw a wannabe Bond Omega Seamaster w/ those distinctive hands that those of us who favor the 2254.50 are certain neither Bond nor Q-Branch would ever have chosen themselves.
Could it be that Timex wants a piece of our action?
