Did You Give It To Your Dealer Yet???

: So, I took it back to the jeweler (I just
: bought the watch 5 days ago) and they said
: that since I have worn the watch (there are
: some scratches on the band), they are going
: to have to send the watch to Omega to have
: it fixed, instead of giving me a new watch.
: Is this standard?

If you haven't let the dealer send the watch back to Omega yet, send me an e-mail for another suggestion. I e-mailed you but it bounced back to me.

On a side note, another forum member bought the same watch from my authorized dealer, and he e-mailed me today telling me he had the exact same problem with the bezel alignment. He called up my AD and they are simply going to ship him a new watch. I'm beginning to wonder if Omega's quality control department is getting a bit sloppy, or if they had a recent run of watches with poorly aligned bezels. This just seems odd to have two back to back incidents reported on the same model at the same time.
