For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
The other issue is the "estimate" of 2-4 weeks for the watch to sucessfully be sent to Switzerland, wind up where it is supposed to in the Omega organization, get fixed,a nd then sucessfully get sent back across the ocean to you. If any one of those steps get screwed up (and with Omega it very well can...) you could be walking around watchless for MONTHS.
Tell the AD that you want a replacement or a refund NOW, and that you refuse to leave the store until you have one or the other in your hand. It probably wouldn't hurt to also tell him that you're going to post that dealer's name on this forum so that every Omega junkie in the country knows who he is, and tells EVERYBODY to stay away.
I hope you have better luck in this situation than I had!!
