Everyone is right Jim, you should receive a new watch.
I bought a speedmaster last year and after a couple of days I realized the minute counter of the chronograph wasn't working properly. I went back to the AD and first they offered to repair it but I refused and demanded a new one. The watch was seven days old at the time. Actually, I posted on this forum to see if I'd done the right thing and Mr. Rochowicz said "Since you only had the watch for seven days, it would have been absurd to put you through the hassle of a warranty repair when the dealer can simply return the faulty watch as defective merchandise. You did exactly what I would have done and what any reputable Omega dealer would have graciously agreed to do."
If you're still wondering if it's worth the trouble to go back and demand a new watch you should ask yourself what you were expecting from $2,000 watch, probably perfection as opposeded to stress.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
