Are there fakes out there in (real) titanium?

Hi, I'm starting to look into getting an Omega, as a first time luxury watch buyer, and I was wondering if fakes made out of titanium are out there. Obviously there are steel ones (and the authentic appearance of them is pretty surprising and intimidating, by the way!).

It occurred to me that I might not have to worry "as much" about a titanium watch being fake, since it's probably harder to produce and such. Of course, there might be someone out there making aluminum ones or something!

I'm still browsing this forum so maybe there is something already discussed about this, but I thought I'd ask.

I'd like to get a Seamaster chrono, preferably in titanium. But I'm in research mode so far.

Thanks,

Ken
