here's a better match
In Response To: Here's JAG's watch ! ()

Here's a better match on the watch.

I think JAG's watch has the white/silver dial.

This is an EXACT match on dial markings & hour markers.

This catalogue is from 63. (click on the pic to see the full catalogue )

The German basically says..

Ref 166.020 ( that's the case ref for the version WITH a date )

Ref 165.020 ( that's the case ref for the version WITHOUT a date )

Solid 18 Kt Gold case with solid gold dial - 895 Deutsch Marks (850 without date )

Solid 18 Kt Gold case with solid gold markers on the dial - 795 Deutsch Marks ( 745 without date )

Gold capped case with solid gold markers on the dial - 385 Deutsch Marks ( 355 without date )

Stainless Steel case - 315 Deutsch Marks ( 285 without date )

The next page in the catalogue mentions straps/bracelets & says there a wide range including Croco, reptile & box leather or solid gold, goldplated or stainless steel. All original bracelets carry the Omega symbol.

As I said, have a look through the catalogues, the UK catalogues have a seperate section at the end JUST for bracelets & straps.

I hope this helps

Steve
