Quite right, John. I always tell them that you can pour a glass of water OVER a 50 metre water-resistant watch, but you can't put that watch INTO a glass of water. When I sell a watch, I don't want to see that customer until the watch is due for servicing 3-4 years later...unless they come back sooner to buy themselves another watch.
