My 2005

I had not bought a watch in six years. In April on a trip to Las Vegas, I bought my wife a gold Ladies Perpetual Rolex. By late summer I had the itch for the watch I had wanted since I was 16, the Speedmaster Professional. So here 36 years later and with sound advice from John and Keith, I got one. Then I bought my kids Omegas for Christmas and Santa brought me my second Speedmaster, a 40th Anniversary G-IV.
To top it off my older daughter will present me my first grandchild in the next few days, what a year.
We will all miss, my fellow Atlantan, Derek and pray the new year will bring his family peace and nothing but pleasant memories.
May each of you be blessed in 2006 as I was in 2005. May your wishes come true, may you find the grail for $5 at a garage sale and may Swatch start making all the old movements you miss.
