In my 31 years in this gulag, where I have known many managers, directors, and vice presidents who were an embarassment to themselves and my company, I have NEVER seen one that was either smart enough, interested enough, or noticed their employees enough, to notice that they were even WEARING a watch, much less what kind it was. For your average upwardly mobile management fast tracker, I would think the only brand name that would ring a bell inside their dimly lit skulls is Rolex, and if it wan't one of those they wouldn't recognize anything else even if it came up and bit them on the butt. (That would be the very rare Omega Jurrasic Park Velociraptor limited edition, by the way. It had a hinged and serrated sapphire crystal on it.)
