Well, it depends on what your goal is. Recognition? Personal satisfaction? Whatever it is, you have to follow your heart!
My opinion, is that Rolex is better in terms of recognition and I like my Rolex Sub better than my Omega SMP (Bond). It feels different when you put it on the wrist. Rolex looks more classic than Omega. Both are good, but Rolex is better.
That's what I think. You ask 100 people, you may get 100 different opinions, so in order not to be confused, buy whichever you personally feel is the best. Never mind what others say since they tend to be subjective. Better yet, if money is no object, buy both! You can wear any of them anytime you choose!
