Re: Help: Info on a (fake) seamaster?

I am just starting out with my knowledge of vintage Omegas, however that watch does not look legit. To the best of my knowledge the only 300 meter dive watch of this percieved time frame (I would say 1960's or '70s) is the Seamaster 300. The Seamaster 300 has a different dial than this one. The pre Bond models (the period up to 1993) I believe were only water resistant to 200 meters. The dial however, on this watch looks like one of the Seamaster professional dials of the 1989-1992 time frame. As for the case again it looks like something out of the 60's or 70's. This may be some sort of obscure model I really don't know. Perhaps a more experienced member can be of better help. That's my 2 cents, either a franken Omega or an outright fake.
